An interesting countermark of Otho

[TPIΠΟΛEITωN - ΘOT] Conjoined draped busts of the Dioskouroi to right, wearing pilei surmounted by stars. RPC 4520B. For countermark, Howgego 594. Fair.

RPC notes that this issue is always countermarked with the names of Galba, Otho or Vespasian. It was probably struck shortly before Nero's downfall and immediately countermarked by the local authorities with the names of the consecutive contenders for the throne
